Use Blurbs for added exposure

Herculist has a nice feature called HercuBlurb that you can use to post ads on their pages. Very easy and convenient and good exposure for your ads. Here is an example “screen shot” of one I placed there today.

Affiliate Funnel has you covered.

People ask me all the time what programs do you personally use online. This is the number one solution for this question.
You can list all your programs that you are promoting on this one page and then simply advertise this one single page.

Brute-Force Marketing

This site includes great training videos. I highly recommend this method.

Note: this Brute Force method was from a site that I used for a while that no longer exists. The link is now directed to a site that does exist: Super APE

Brute Force Marketing

Anixas at FaceBook

Since I am big on social media promotion I decided tonight to create a 3rd FaceBook page. I already have one for my personal page and a FREE FOR ALL advertising page. Tonight I decided that there should also be one that ties into this website and the work that is being done here. So now we have a new page. You can visit the new page here:

Some content may overlap between this website and the FaceBook page, but there may also be content on there that is not found on this website.

Please like the page if you feel inclined, thanks.

Most of the marketing people I deal with also recommend that you use mailers. These are services that you sign up for and then, much like a traffic exchange, you view emails and then get so many credits for viewing each email. There is likely a timer involved that you have to wait for before you earn those credits. Then, based on the amount of credits that you have, you can then send out your own emails to others who are in the system to promote your own offers.

Several of these I have tried and then cancelled. I was getting so many emails in my inbox that I could not keep up with any of them. Sometimes you get hundreds of emails. They suggest you open a separate Gmail account to handle this type of mailer system (like I need another email account). So, most of my testing results with these programs were frustrating and I was overloaded with email that was too much to process.

That has all changed as of a couple of days ago. I found a new mailer program that is easy to use and does not clutter my mail. You can even select how much mail you want to receive each day. Not only that, but on sign-up there is a check box you should keep an eye out for where you can keep the mail out of your email box and just view it on their website (this is the option I chose, of course). This is working much better. And also, sending your own email promotion out from this service is a breeze and there is a box you can check where it will keep a copy of the message in case you want to send the same one out again. You can mail once a day to about 500 people in the basic free account. Click the ad below if you need a good mailer service.

Downline Building to the Maxx

Save time with organization

Either start a spreadsheet on your computer or get an empty notebook. If you are going to use a lot of traffic exchanges then you should devote an entire spreadsheet or large section of your notebook just for that. Label it “Traffic Exchanges”. start with # or 0-10 something that signifies numbers. Some of the traffic exchanges start with numbers such as start with a number so you need that section first. Then, of course, go A through Z.

If you begin to do all the things suggested in this blog, you will start to get a large number of websites that you need the name and password for. Use your notebook or spreadsheet to keep track of all of this and do not use the same password on any of the sites.

You will need to first list the website like Then list your user name and password. Next, you will need to login to that site and go to your promotion or affiliate section. You need to also write down your Referral Id# and keep this with the other information. This will normally be at the end of your affiliate link. Sometimes it is your user name, other times (in fact, most of the time) they assign you a number. Keep this with the other information. This is very important. Here is why. When you join a traffic exchange they normally have a section called Downline Builder. This is a great way to get people easily into your downlines. They will have a list of traffic exchanges or other programs in this section. You simply enter all of your Referral Id numbers and then hit the update button. Now, when someone joins this traffic exchange under you and they go to this section, if they sign up for any of the programs in the downline builder list (and you have your id# in place), then you will get that person in your downline for that program. Any programs you are not part of you can join while you are filling out the list. You don’t have to join them but if you don’t then whoever already has their id# in place will get that person in their downline instead of you.

Hopefully these tips will help keep you organized on this adventure.

Joining Free Programs

So when you go on traffic exchanges, ad-boards, classifieds, etc. my recommendation is that you sign up for as many free programs as possible. What for? , you may ask. Well, valuable gems and hidden secrets, of course. What I mean is this, there are tons of totally FREE programs out there that you may come upon, for instance, while surfing a traffic exchange. When something catches your eye, especially if it is free, go ahead and sign up for it. You have nothing to lose. Once inside you can determine if this is something useful to you or not. Perhaps when you get inside then you find out the main program is not for you but you find an advertising resource that you did not know about (see hidden gem). Or, you can just get ideas for your own websites or programs by seeing what they have to offer. Or, you might join and find out that it is really something to pursue. So, get in there, and see what FREE gems you can find today. Happy Hunting!

Using Video Marketing

People love how-to videos. They don’t have to be good. They certainly don’t have to be long. When somebody is looking for information they want it now and they want it fast. It does not matter if it is a super polished high production video. In fact, if your fancy video intro is too long they may just click off the video and on to somebody else’s video. Keep it short and sweet and get to the meat! I watch some people ramble on and on about useless information and by the time they ever get to the subject of the video I forget what it was even about. These people just like to hear themselves talk and they are mostly full of hot air. You do not have to show yourself on the video. Some people are afraid to make videos because they do not want to be on screen. You don’t have to be. In fact, if you suck in front of the camera or look bad then that will not be good at all for your marketing efforts. Instead, you can do a series of photos, slides, or record your desktop computer screen. Then you can narrate over top of that (if you can do that good). If you cannot do a good job narrating, then you can just add text into the slides explaining how to do whatever it is you are making a how-to video on. Some people like to use music over the video as well. Do not use copyrighted music or you will get your video banned. Some video sites will have a music section built in that they permit you to use on your videos.

You can have a title slide and an ending slide that show your website address. Make sure it is a short address that can easily be remembered. You can then also put information or links in the description under the video.

Affiliate Marketing Strategy

You are here at Power Secrets to get the edge. You are one of thousands of marketers selling the same products to people. The more popular the product, the more competition that you have. That is a simple fact. Number One: Be unique. Remember there are many others out there selling the exact same thing that you are. You need to set yourself apart from them. Number Two: Be the best. Take a look at what others are doing in your niche and then beat them at it. Look at their websites or sales materials and then devise a way to do it better. Make a better website or better sales copy than your competitors. Number Three: Give a bonus. Find some bonus offers or e-books that you can give away that compliment your offer. Sometimes I feel that people tend to go a bit overboard with this part. No-one wants to be reading your sales page and then also have to keep scrolling for days reading about all 50 of your bonus offers. That just makes it look like you have a stockpile of old e-books that you are trying to unload. If you are going to do a bonus offer, I would suggest only one or two bonus items, but make them really good ones. Also, make sure that they really go with the original product so the customer gets added value on the original purchase. Number Four: Get them on your list. They say the list is where the money is at. There are many ways to go about this. You can give away an e-book. Newsletters or daily emails are something you can have people sign up for. You can even use multiple methods for list building, or any of these things. In fact, I encourage that. Why use one tactic? Go all out. Be creative, and most of all, have fun!
